In the
60’s, when the Agri river was
blocked off, the law of pertusillo
was created.
It’s
creation is based on one of the
firstest pieces of hidraulic
engineering of it’s time, with a
capacity of 155 million cubic metres
of water which allows the production
of electrical energy as well as the
irrigation of 35 million hectares of
land.
Directly
surrounding tha dam are suitable
equipped with pic – nic/rest
–areas, barbequeslawn bowls, tables
etc.
Just
recently in Ficarella quarter, the
local township celebrated the
opening at an oasis to live the
nature in well-being.
Lake
Pertusillo is rich with trout,eel
and carp, inviting more than just
the local fishermen.
